Our “new” building – built in 1960 and anchored by our majestic and iconic Alhadeff Sanctuary – architecturally and functionally represents the Jewish synagogue experience of the 1950s and no longer reflects ways we worship, learn, gather, or socialize together.
It’s time for change.
Our congregation has unanimously approved a capital campaign for up to $22.5 million to renew the 16th Avenue side of our Seattle campus. Once complete, the transformation of our plaza, foyer, Alhadeff Sanctuary – as well unseen but essential upgrades to our infrastructure – will fulfill the vision of our Core Values:
